142 Dogs Ready to Play in Annual Puppy Bowl

3 Puppy Bowl pups from PA

Animal Planet’s 21st Puppy Bowl returns February 9, 2025. A total of 142 puppies from 80 shelters will run, play, and bounce around as they compete for the coveted Lombarky trophy. These adorable competitors come from 40 states and two countries.

Looking to watch the fun? The pre-game show begins at 1 p.m. ET, with the main event starting at 2 p.m. ET. You can watch these playful pups on Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV – or stream it through Discovery+, Max, and Fubo.

“Win or lose, Puppy Bowl XXI will have the cutest players in the game on Sunday, February 9 and will inspire families across the country to adopt a new furry friend,” said Howard Lee to Discovery Networks.

Sports commentators Steve Levy and Taylor Rooks will announce the game as Team Ruff takes on Team Fluff. Before the main event, puppies must show their talents in the Puppy Combine, demonstrating their abilities for draft day.

Among this year’s standouts are two special players. Jolene, a lively Pit Bull Terrier-mix, moves around in her wheelchair. Then there’s Sprinkle, a determined Australian Shepherd-mix who plays despite being deaf and blind.

Here are the players representing the Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware areas:
