Eagles Soar on The ‘Tonight Show’: Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley Celebrate Super Bowl LIX Victory

(L-R) Jalen Hurts #1 and Saquon Barkley #26 of the Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia Eagles stars Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on February 11th to discuss their dominant Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

During the interview, they revealed that the “tush push” is not called the “tush push” by the team. Jalen said he does not call it the tush push, and Saquon learned that when he joined the team. However, we did find out Saquon’s role in the infamous play; he said he is the one who “pushes the tush.”

Jalen Hurts shared that he won’t be changing his phone wallpaper, which is a photo of him walking off the field surrounded by yellow and red confetti after their Super Bowl LVII loss to the Chiefs, as a humble reminder. They joked that his next wallpaper might be a photo with Jimmy Fallon. Hurts reflected on the hard work and effort that led to their Super Bowl win, describing the moment he saw his reflection on the Lombardi Trophy as a “pretty good feeling.”

Saquon Barkley shared a heartwarming story about missing a daddy-daughter dance, which was rescheduled so he could attend at a later date with his daughter. He also addressed a moment from MAX’s Hard Knocks, clarifying that his departure from the Giants did not affect his relationship with the organization, and many reached out to congratulate him after the game. Hurts also recounted the moment captured in a photo of him sitting with the Lombardi Trophy, smoking a cigar, describing it as a moment of “happy feelings.”

The Eagles’ offensive line, including Lane Johnson, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Mehkai Beckton, and Jordan Mailata, joined the show wearing Big Dom shirts and celebrated their victory by shotgunning beers with Jimmy Fallon. Barkley also gave a shoutout to Penn State and his “party days.”

The team also had some fun with the show backstage.
