Star boxer and YouTube celebrity Jake Paul is staking a big claim for a Philadelphia Eagles win against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, Feb. 9. He stated he would give Eagles running back Saquon Barkley an opportunity to own one of his Ferraris if Barkley is named Super Bowl MVP, according to a Newsweek report.
Paul announced his wager through an Instagram post released from Betr, Paul’s betting firm. “If you win the Super Bowl MVP, I think you can do it, brother. Have so much love for you. You’ve been dominating all my Betr Picks Lineups this whole season. I will give you one of my Ferraris if you win Super Bowl MVP.”
Barkley has experienced an incredible 2024 NFL season. He ended regular season action with 2,005 rushing yards. He shares company with only a few running backs who have achieved over 2,000 rushing yards in one season.
During the Eagles’ playoff run, Barkley averaged 147 rushing yards per game. He marked 119 yards against the Green Bay Packers during the Wild Card Round, 205 rushing yards against the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round, and 118 yards in the NFC Championship against the Washington Commanders.
Barkley hopes for a victory that would give the Eagles their second Super Bowl win for the franchise and secure him MVP recognition — and perhaps that Jake Paul Ferrari.
