The Philadelphia Eagles are set to celebrate their Super Bowl LIX victory with a grand parade on Friday, February 14, 2025.
The Eagles Super Bowl parade will kick off at 11 a.m. from Broad and Pattison Avenues outside Lincoln Financial Field. The route will travel down Broad Street toward City Hall, then continue onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, ending at the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Rocky Steps.
Fans can expect to see open-air buses carrying players, coaches, and special guests, with 15 jumbotrons set up along the route for easy viewing. The ceremony at the Rocky Steps will begin around 2 p.m., featuring speeches from the team.
Here are some things you need to know before the Eagles Super Bowl parade:
Weather
With sunny skies and a high of 36 degrees forecasted, it’s a great day to bundle up and join the celebration. Make sure you dress for the cold, with hats, gloves, and scarves to keep warm! Also, despite the cold, don’t forget to hydrate. It doesn’t have to be hot out for drinking water to matter.
Safety
There are essential safety measures you need to take and plan for if you’re headed to the parade.
First, arrange a meetup location with anyone you’re going with, just in case you get separated. Cell service may be spotty with the sheer number of people in one place. Think about safety if bringing any kids, as well. It is a family-friendly event, but keep an eye on those kiddos.
While you’re out there, look for exits and be prepared for large crowds and limited cell phone service. If you call 911 for help, know your location well so they can get to you effectively! Also, sign up for the city alert system by texting READYEAGLES (one word/no space) to 888-777.
Transportation
When going to the parade using public transport, this is what you need to know.
SEPTA’s special Eagles Parade schedule is available at SEPTA.org. The Market-Frankford Line [L] and Broad Street Line [B] will run every 6-to-8 minutes starting at 5 am, with free rides to help manage safety and crowd flow. Also, SEPTA is offering special passes for parade day.
Parking And Road Closures
There are also essential parking-related things to know.
No parking will be allowed along the parade route and adjacent streets from 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, until 6 p.m. on Friday, February 14. Expect significant travel delays on Friday, and additional road closures may be implemented to ensure public safety. Commuters should allow extra time on Friday morning due to potential residual delays. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and avoid double-parking, which causes congestion and is illegal. Streets will begin reopening on Friday, February 14, with most reopening before 7 a.m. on Saturday, February 15.
